GotEM Sanctuary‘s Jacksonville Pagan Pride Alliance, Inc is coordinating the 12th annual Jacksonville’s Pagan Pride Day on September 15, 2012 in Riverside Park from 10:00am to 7:00pm. This year’s event is sponsored by Earth Gifts, an alternative spirituality store.
Jacksonville Pagan Pride Day (JaxPPD) is a FREE local chapter event of the national Pagan Pride Project (PPP). The event’s mission is building unity through education, community, charity, and activism of Paganism as well as promoting religious freedom and acceptance of ALL!
JaxPPD will begin at 10:00am with an opening blessing ritual. We will collect non-perishable food, pet supplies, and Pagan book donations for local non-profits. Donations will equal raffle tickets for door prizes! Inside the park, the pathways will be lined with local vendors and non-profit organization tables. From 11:00am to 5:00pm, we have a schedule full of educational workshops for all ages! There will be a musical performance at 6:00pm, followed by a community Autumn Equinox / Mabon Ritual by Dark Waters Grove at 7:00pm!
